I've come here a few times with a friend, and the relatively low review rating baffles me. This is an extremely friendly bar, it's got great vibe and that general dive bar category decor that many of us love, and the woman who was bartending was absolutely wonderful: friendly, attentive, and an engaging conversationalist who knows how to read and talk with people as individuals. The most important element of course is that each time we left, we were talking about wanting to come back. I would say that especially with the recent decline in service at the infamous Straphanger, and the sad demise of Bergen Brick Oven (which was more for the pizza but did also sport a great bar), giving Lenora's a try made it easily and comfortably step in as my favorite bar in Hackensack. There's a lot of competition in the general area, but I really wish I had discovered this place sooner, it has certainly been around. If there's anything I wish different about it, it's that I wish it was open a bit earlier, but honestly that's not enough of an issue to knock it down from five stars. If you're looking for a nice spot to have a drink in a great atmosphere, and if you happen to be a connoisseur of dive bars like myself, you're definitely going to want to come here, and you're definitely going to want to come back. Highly recommended, go and enjoy.

Always a very action packed bar. Lots of music. Pool. Sports. All the regulars ate very kind people. The owner, Lenora, is a sweetheart!
It's a really fun crowd here and they are very much about drinking and playing pool. Everybody's been friendly, and there's also a very good pinball game there. I used to go there during karaoke night and it was a blast. However, I'm not sure if they still do that. I do know that they have a league pool team there. I heard that they don't sell pizza there anymore. So, I'm not sure if they actually sell food anymore.
This is my favorite dive bar in New Jersey. The bartenders are great and attentive. The place is usually full of working class fellas looking to blow off some steam. It's a good and cheap place to grab a drink.
Lenora's is a staple. Best service, best prices, always a fun time.
It's cool and in the cut if you want to be low and out the way . Sometimes they have a live band and pool table tucked away upstairs
Been going here for years, best place to play pool with the guys. I have been going to this location for now about 10 years where would the service. There's Taffy a great kind and willing to listen to what you need to order. Not too expensive how much are the prices just about right. And if you need a location to get away from the wife this is the place.
